MADRID

HOLAHOLAA de Madrid!

It was pretty nice here today, breezy but sunny.. around 60ish. I woke up on the plane totally disoriented.. no idea where i was.. but figured it out obviously. Its kinda hard to believe I'll be here for three months still.

Leave  it up to me to find the only other two people from MN (none are from ND). (:

I've already been using my spanish today talking with random people to find a darn supermarket so we could buy champu y acondicionar!  (:

We have a mandatory meeting at 7pm tonight and then we will get our phones so i can FINALLY contact the outside world.. it deff. feels like im in a different world.

and the internet sitch. so far is LESS than favorable. free 30 min. no Wifi. whatever, hopefuly its easier as time goes on.

Tomorrow we have a day around madrid and then free time to ourselves, and then on Wednesday we leave for Toledo.

Leaving Sunday

This week is going to fly by. I wish that I could just pause it and make the most of my time with the people I know I am going to miss; and yet I couldn't be more excited/scared/nervous..

Packing is... coming along. I can't help but find ways to procrastinate. I made a list of everything I'm bringing to make sure I come back with it.. mainly because I am prone to forgetting things... and keep deciding new ways to pack and different things I "need".

I am looking forward to my classes though. Its a 25 min walk from Triana to my University but I am going to enjoy every second of that walk, every day I hope. I can't wait to experience it for real.

For the time being though, I am going to enjoy and mash people into every second of my life before I leave this country.

9 dias...

This is really coming fast.

I tried to get ahead by packing a little bit and that is not working... So far all I have done is think about how much I am going to miss everyone. I'm such a sap... But it is weird leaving the comfort of home for that amount of time.

Packing begins Monday now... Still with no idea how everything will fit into my suitcase.

15 Días hasta Sevilla

How has this snuck up on me so fast? I feel like it was yesterday that my roomie and I just decided to apply to study abroad and she has gone and is back and now it's my turn. There is still SO MUCH for me to do I don't feel ready... but I suppose I'll have to be...

Packing is by far my biggest stuggle so far (aside from coming to terms that in 15 days I'm leaving home which includes the ones I love the most.. luckily they will be there when I return).

What do you bring in ONE, yes ONE suitcase for 3 months? oh wait, I do get a carry-on. Super. haha


Regardless, this will be quite the adventure.. (meaning packing... although Spain will be also)! :)
